  1. By entering the Lux Rewards Competitions (the Competition), all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. The promoter of the Competition is Luxottica South Africa (Pty) Ltd, (“Luxottica”), with its’ Head Office at 2nd Floor, Block A, Black River Park North, Fir Street, Observatory, Cape Town.
  3. Participation in the Competition is open to all staff members of Retailers of Luxottica, who are 18 years of age or older and are a resident within the Republic of South Africa or Namibia.
  4. Participation in the Competition is not compulsory and it is the choice of each individual Retailer whether or not they want their staff to participate in the Competition.
  5. The Competition will run for a specified time period (the Competition period). Luxottica reserves the right, in its’ absolute discretion, to cancel or change the commencement or conclusion date of the Competition period, at any stage, for any reason whatsoever.
  6. To enter the Competition each staff member must: Register for the Competition on or before the start date and during the promo period, through the Lux Rewards Portal, by logging onto www.luxrewards.co.za, and completing the registration process by providing the details requested including the staff member’s full name, surname and cellular telephone number, Retailer’s (store’s) name and Luxottica account number.
  7. In order to be eligible to enter the Competition, a staff member must follow the competition mechanics as detailed for that specific Competition.
  8. Entrance into the Competition is based on individual staff sales across the Luxottica brand portfolio and any prizes won shall be awarded to the individual staff member in question and not to the Retailer (store) where he/she is employed.
  9. All proof of purchase/invoices must be retained, because the winner/s will be required to produce all relevant proof of purchase /invoices to Luxottica in order to take ownership of the prizes.
  10. Luxottica, its’ subsidiaries, affiliates, agents and assigns will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, or damage, which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with any Competitions.
  11. Luxottica, will not be liable for any damage to or delay in transit of any prize allocation.
  12. Without limiting any other paragraph in these terms and conditions, Luxottica, its’ subsidiaries, affiliates, agents and assigns, makes no warranties or representations about the fitness for purpose or suitability of the prizes.
  13. Without limiting any other paragraph, Luxottica may at its sole discretion amend any aspect of this Competition or of these terms and conditions. All decisions made by Luxottica are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. Failure by Luxottica to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
